The 11th annual Acadian Memorial Heritage Festival and Wooden Boat Congres will be held Saturday, March 21st at Evangeline Oak Park in St Martinville. Lots of great food, live Cajun music, arts and crafts, Cajun dance lessons, and a reenactment of the arrival of the Acadians will be held on Bayou Teche. Festivities begin at 10:00 am and go through 4:00 pm. Looks like a great family outing on beautiful Bayou Teche in St Martinville!

-10:00am Welcome, introductions Table française – conversation in French (Mike LeBlanc and others)
-11:00am Théâtre Cadien – historical vignettes La Récolte – Cajun music Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site – traditional life on the bayou
-12:00pm Traditional round dances with Earlene Broussard
Coton Jaune/Acadian Brown Cotton, a Documentary Film by Sharon and Suzanne
-12:30pm Cajun dance lessons with Brandon Broussard and Brazos Huval School of Music
-1:00pm Re-enactment of the arrival of the Acadian families, honoring the Sonnier and Guilbeau families
