Mintlly Ill Time Last Night from The Blue Moon Saloon in Lafayette, LA…
It was a great night from The Blue Moon Saloon as two bands pulled off a fun and eventful great time. The Mitch Laing Band from Monroe, LA “Swamp Thing Boogie” pulled off two great sets of Superhero Rock (Think Comic-Con meets Nada Surf) with something unique for many who enjoy superheros from the past and present. This band is perfect for Comic-Con with songs such as “Justice Rising” and “The Batman Song.” View one of two albums currently for sale titled “Justice” and a 2019 release “Avenge.”
The bands did something creative. One band played a set then the second and the first band came back and so on which gave everyone the ability to hear them…”nothing missed.”Something that made the night fun and added to the flair of the two bands playing songs together at times which added to their originals.
The debut of The “Mintlly Ilbillies” was one that was not only creative from this band which includes members from the “previous Arn Maiden” that you may know but adds to the sound as well as a few more songs to the Bluegrass sound.
Our favorite of the Night was “EPIC” from “Faith No More.” We are greatly looking forward to the next invite locally or near. Last night was filled with locals and also one large group in Acadiana from Paris France which added to a great night of fun.
