Q & A About Absinthe w Nick James from The Boom Boom Room in Lafayette, LA…
In the last few weeks we have enjoyed many great drinks throughout the Acadiana area. One drink we stumbled upon from The Freetown Boom Boom room located on 300 McKinley Street in Lafayette, LA is the traditional Absinthe drink we hear about so much in the New Orleans area, and many other areas of Europe.
In the last two weeks we have tried them all and we have to say it is sure worth a try the traditional way The Boom Boom Room is serving it up in Lafayette, LA.
This week we had a brief moment to speak to bar owner “Nick James” about the drink because we had to get the word out about this new tradition and drink. We can’t wait to try some more tonight! ***Feel free to view the Absinthe pouring video on the Live and Local Acadiana Instagram page by clicking here.
