This morning we hear that we lost a local that many of us know or have seen in the Acadiana area…Hart Fortenbery. If you have frequented the many venues we have in the area for live music or maybe just to enjoy yourself; you may have seen him around. We first met Hart while taking pictures of the Vermilion River during a photo shoot on his boat parked very close to Pinhook Rd. We have since collaborated and created some interesting video since that time. Hart was seen in various roles in film as an extra, written many songs collaborating with various local bands such as the Scoundrels, The Givers, and also on a role on Deep South Paranormal on SyFy channel around 5 years ago. We will keep you informed on what we hear about burial information which we do hear will be in the Alexandria, LA area. We are also informed that there may be a local remembrance of friends being talked about as well at Cafe Cottage at this time.

We will start below with a video that we will always remember at Live And Local with Hart doing a weather clip of the kickoff weekend for the 2018 Festival Acadiens at Girard Park. Hart was “Hurricane” Hart and he had fun with it for sure!

We are left wondering many things but we will focus on some of the great things about Hart that made Hart…well Hart.
