Saturday nights are always the night of choice for fun and this weekend in Acadiana we sure do know that many are making plans and are ready to have the most fun possible. With Halloween 2018 weekend on top of this huge weekend we believe it could possibly be the biggest weekend of the year on many scales but if you are looking to be entertained Lafayette really is the place to be this weekend!

Our top three choices for the week are absolutely on an even scale and are as follows.

      1. Wayne Toups at Rock N Bowl in Lafayette, LA – We have been watching this show since the event was started and as of now we see that the interested scale has hit 2100 on the Facebook event. With a big dance floor and a living legend on stage anything is possible. Scandals Annual Halloween Costume Contest and Ultimate Saturday night dance party. – Every year we see some of the best costumes on the Scandals stage and we should know we have taken the pictures for the contest for at least 4 years now. With $500 in prizes it’s the ticket that even engineers have created costumes for. Many are planning to attend Saturday night with some great pretty creative costumes. Firehouse and Foundry at The Cajundome Convention Center this Saturday night. – With Rock bands making a huge comeback 80’s Rock band Firehouse is in Lafayette, LA this Saturday night with hits like “Don’t Treat Me Bad” and “Love of a Lifetime.” Firehouse teams up with Vegas and Lafayette locals Foundry to bring a pretty slamming show this Saturday night starting at 9pm.   • Route 92 in Youngsville, LA – Spank The Monkey will be on stage with a Funky Halloween party in the Youngsville, LA area
  • 501 Sports Bar in Youngsville, LA – Halloween Costume Contest with DJ Lance Kern starting at 9:30pm with prizes!
  • Halloween at The Mansion w Sailormouth and more looks promising at 1304 Jefferson Street – Basically a house party with bands but enter at your own risk. The lineup will be as follows starting at 9pm Justin Doan’s Video Game Shredstravaganza – Nerd Culture Shred Armed Rhymery – Hip Hop, Jason & The Kruegers – Comedic Punk Metal Horror, Sailor Mouth – RnB/Soul Rock, Arbre Mort – Death Metal, and Kthulu Prime – Kthulu Step
  • Blackpot Festival at Vermilionville – We hear there will be a costume contest at this year’s Blackpot Festival this year at Vermilionville in Lafayette, LA. Regardless of a contest we know they will have great music and dancing from 11am – 8:30pm – See line-up by clicking here
