We have added some great moments below to enjoy! 2011’s Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, the song is called “Too Many Rappers”. It was directed by Roman Coppola, and features MCA, Ad-Rock, Mike D and Nas. (see footage below)
First lets start with saying here is a story about The History of the Beastie Boys with a huge punk and rock influence, from two bands in New York who came together. “The Young Aborigines” and “The Young and the Useless” were the two bands who came together playing at at club clalled “A7.” Mainly a huge punk influenced club. This then moved on to a club with a huge punk influence “CBGB.” It is here that the name Beastie Boys started. Shortly after meeting Rick Rubin at NYU, and DJ Dr Dre; the rest started to build from there. With a hit like “Hold it now…Hit It” The Beatie Boys started to gain an interest as well as respect for a genre of music they started to gain a rap following…but it was not always easy as you will enjoy watching below. Awesome band and awesome histiry below we hope you enjoy!
