Have you ever heard of MitchFest? If you enjoy a great multi-genre show then this show is for you! From Ska, to Metal, Rock, A Weezer Tribute, A Burlesque Show, and Hip-Hop there is something for everyone this Saturday. Today we had a moment to speak to band promoter, sound technician, and musician, Mitch Briggs as well as Drummer of the Band β€œSCUM” and Dodge Comet owner Graham Blake. We had much to talk about and you will enjoy hearing and getting excited about the show by clicking play below. We also had the opportunity to talk about local venues, and Mitch offered up some advice about what to do, and what not to do if you are thinking about starting a band. We also were able to shed some insight on the new livestream feature from Facebook & Periscope. So make it a point to have an open mind and get ready for fun this weekend for Mitch Fest 2016….you will leave alot more enthusiastic about the music scene in Acadiana….Bring some extra cash though for Merch! This event will be held at J.P’s bar located on 4416 Johnston Street in Lafayette, LA. And thank you to local bar owner Flip Bollotte for helping out the cause and supporting local music in Louisiana!
