All proceeds from Hopefest are directed to two different recipients caring for people in need. One recipient is St. Thomas More Catholic High Schoolβs Options Program, which enables special needs teens to receive a St. Thomas More education. The other recipient for 2015 is Healing House. The Healing House, formerly The Grief Center of Southwest Louisiana, is a non-profit agency focused on helping children ages 4-17 through grief issues in a group atmosphere. They provide a safe place, where children who have experienced a death of a loved are provided care and support through their healing process. It is their vision that no child should grieve alone.
